Pantone’s color of the year – emerald is hot! Come on by fleurdetroit, we have plenty for the picking! Also in this issue, check out some homes that are setting the trends! We have worked with many of these families over the years and had the pleasure of styling the home featured on the cover.
We are excited for this feature of our very own Phillip and Joe and their wooded get-away! Their curated collection of period furniture, unique and rare ceramics, and contemporary art set quite the stage for this casual respite.
We had a wonderful time working with the Curis family to create the right floral look for their beautiful home on the coastline of Grosse Pointe Shores. Selecting the right modern designer vessels and floral color palette was key in creating a unique and contemporary ambience that complimented their style and energy!
We love this home and had such a blast designing and constructing a landscape that would compliment the meditative space created by the architecture. We used organic lines and flowing borders found in nature to create a place that feels more like a retreat than simply a house.
It’s always a pleasure to work with Stephen Knollenberg, especially when it is in Key West! We manufactured and supplied site furnishings for this project.
The objective of this project was to feature the lake and the architecture. Our urbanscapesdetroit team designed clean and rolling lines of turf to not compete with the sleek lines of this Michigan lake cottage. A limestone pool-surround only adds to the luxury of this family’s weekend retreat.
Designing the property that brings you into the wonderful world of Stephen’s Michigan Cottage was a delight! Structured yet casual cottage living was the feel we delivered for this sanctuary in Saugatuck.
