Restoration of the Fox Indian Massacre state historical marker site and fundraising to privately pay for the work intersected last week along converging paths. Volunteers from fleurdetroit cleared the location on Windmill Pointe Drive at Lakepointe of overgrown vegetation that hid the marker from easy view. Installation of a more open design contributed by Phillip Morici, Park resident and co-founder and CEO of fleurdetroit, began with laying sleeper stones.
