In the eighth month, the world takes a well-deserved siesta. At fleurdetroit, we too take the time to breathe in summer. In our younger days, Joe and I would rush through the year, trying to cram as much as possible into each working day, with little time to spare. These days, we choose to live more fully in the moment and cram less into our days. Let’s all celebrate August with some well-deserved relaxation and good times!

Take a lazy drive through Michigan’s heartland and discover new farm stands. Take a day trip to a beach town along one of the state’s beautiful coasts, and certainly, take the opportunity to visit us at fleurdetroit. Breathe in the calm before the school season begins and the holidays run us all down!
