Creating a Memorable Harvest Table

Crisp fall weather calls for cozy entertaining. Whether you’re hosting a small gathering for family or having friends over for a fall evening of fun, we've created the perfect harvest tablescape to celebrate the season.

Inspired by the Season

Fall is all about a muted palette and shades of burnt orange, cinnamon, mustard and cranberry. We choose to style our tablescape on a vintage wooden table that feels rustic and natural, yet refined. In lieu of a floral arrangement or greens, wheat grasses and other naturally dried foliage are the perfect base for our table. Candlelight always adds a little warmth, and these amazing taper candles by The Floral Society in the color clay, fitted in modern bronze holders, add that perfect touch.

A Layered Look

A beautiful salvaged oak board from Rough Sawn Detroit is the perfect pedestal for our decadent fall pies from Josef's. We stacked a mix of decorative velvet pumpkins with gold-leaf gourds for a truly autumnal decor moment. Vintage French copper lids create interest and an additional touch of color for the overall look. We added bit of whimsy and character with a vintage lead squirrel figurine.

Adding custom pumpkins with gold-leafing accent adds a personal touch to your table design.

Serving Your Best

For beverage service, we picked a vintage hammered bronze kettle to tie in with the other mixed metal pieces. Our serving pieces include these amazing French Sampigny-Les-Maranges bowls and platters in varied sizes with a marbled swirl and a terracotta base. The color and design tie everything together and make a memorable fall look.

You can apply this look to a dining table, a buffet or even a kitchen island when entertaining your guests this fall. Get inspired by decor items you own, and mix in seasonal pieces. Keep your color palette consistent and have fun mixing materials while keeping it natural!
