This month, we celebrate Passover—eight days of meaningful gatherings and special meals with loved ones. Whether you're hosting a Passover Seder or attending as a guest, an elevated, curated table setting can enhance the experience for all. We've designed a tablescape inspired by spring greens, providing the perfect setting for a spring celebration.
Inspired by Green
Green is a refreshing color—one that evokes growth, renewal, and peace. When designing a table for such a symbolic celebration, it feels natural to use a hue with such deep meaning. We chose plates, glassware, and serveware in varying shades of green to create a layered yet cohesive look. A monochromatic palette allows for playful pattern mixing, adding visual interest.
A Variety of Serving Pieces
The traditional Passover feast includes a variety of foods—meat, eggs, vegetables, and herbs. When setting your table, you'll need plenty of serving pieces to accommodate every aspect of the meal.
At the base, new Capiz Shell Pomegranate Chargers in ivy provide an eye-catching, nature-inspired foundation. Coalport Cairo green-on-white appetizer plates stack atop a Ginori 1735 Oriente Italiano Bario salad plate and vintage green glass dinner plates—a sumptuous green stack! Vintage 1970s French Luminarc Cavalier stemmed green glasses complete the look with elegance and charm.
Decor Pieces for Added Interest
To elevate our look, we've incorporated charming spring décor. One of fleurdetroit's favorite vendors, Les Céramiques de Lussan, introduces a gorgeous update to their classic painted guinea fowl—now available in a sophisticated matte finish, available in green, terracotta, and yellow.
Additionally, we've incorporated resin snowdrop candle holders by Bungalow Denmark, paired with our tried-and-true taper candles by Root Candles. A vintage KPM porcelain vase filled with Snake Ball Allium adds just the right amount of interest without overpowering the already dynamic tablescape.
We encourage you to take the time to create a beautifully elevated table design this season. Let the spirit of the season and the celebration inspire your creativity.
