Each year our team comes together the last Sunday of October, one week prior to the annual Holiday Open House, to flip the entire shoppe to holiday store sets. The warehouse team has been receiving and processing the holiday merchandise for months leading up to this point, and on set up day, the glitter and organized chaos comes to life—with the help of lots of caffeine, of course!
Each separate holiday vignette requires a labor of love, and lots of hands tirelessly unboxing, sorting, tagging and hanging. Our team seamlessly brings the magic of the holidays throughout the entire campus in one weekend. But come Monday, holiday music sets the scene, and the trees are decorated from floor to ceiling, without a trace of the process in sight.
The magic of the holidays at fleurdetroit is that we bring inspiration along with awesome decor pieces. We highlight design trends, introduce new perspectives and mix everyday seasonal with amazing one-of-a-kind vintage finds.
This year’s display includes five fully decorated garlands, 16 decorated trees in varying sizes and styles, and countless amounts of ornaments and decor pieces. Between natural, modern and transitional aesthetics, there is truly something for everyone's style. One of this year's most standout trees pulls upon inspiration from the classic fashion houses of Milan and showcases a captivating color palette of blushes, mauves and sage greens styled in a bacs à oranger from La Madeleine Anduze Pottery.
