Can We Say, Grandmillenial?
There's nothing better than a nice thematic table. We love a good theme! Inspired by the fruits of summer and keeping up the Grandmillennial trend, we have a created a table that is simply sweet. Introducing vintage China creates an eye-catching design aesthetic that young traditionalists drool over. Sweet Decor Items
We started with a neutral-colored linen knowing we would be introducing lots of patterned pieces into this look. Linen-like Caspari napkins in classic red gingham add the perfect amount of practical pattern. We served our sweet dessert course on a vintage Limoges platter. Refreshing lemonade is served in a vintage Sarreguemines green pitcher with the perfect picnic look. Guests enjoy their treats off the real table focus—Vintage Bergdorf Goodman hand-painted strawberry Italian plates. This charming look is both carefree and inviting.
Tie the Look Together
It's all about candlelight to create the perfect mood. These fun handmade metal toleware candlesticks add a conversation piece to the table. They also add the right amount of ‘fresh’! We used simple white beeswax taper candles by Root Candles—understated, yet elegant. Sold in our shoppe in varying colors, heights, widths, and textures, these candles are a crowd favorite.
With your fun tablescape set, the only thing left to do is gather your favorite people and prepare your favorite summertime dishes for your simply sweet celebration.
