As the October owls fly and HOOT into the autumn eve, I would love to share HOOT makes up the talented Fleurdetroit family!

As the leaves begin to change, and the weather starts to cool, we transition our warm and sunny décor to a more neutral and natural palette. Using seasonal décor mixed with vintage fine china, we’ve created an early autumnal natural table that truly sets the tone for the upcoming season.

Our summer floral collection is full of bright, bold color and an overall cheery aesthetic. There are four different designs, in varying sizes perfect for any occasion from birthday gifts, to anniversary, to ‘just because.’

Our lead floral designer, Mallory, shows us how to build a transitional garden arrangement with a color palette of deep purples, muted greens, and pops of yellow—perfect for the changing seasons.

The magic that struck in September so many years ago…Over a decade ago, in the very month of September, Joe and I decided to begin collecting, importing, and more importantly curating a collection of garden ornament for use in our landscape projects. This initial trip to Europe was the jumping off point for fleurdetroit. We wanted to create a space that evoked a welcoming energy for all to experience design through our eyes.

Designing a wedding can be overwhelming but still incredibly fun. The day is a blank slate and sometimes thinking outside the box can have beautiful results.
